Por fin después de tanto tiempo pude instalar un plug in en mi servidor que me permite correr todos los contenidos flash, el plug in se llama Ruffle y es simplemente genial.

Esto no significa que seguiré creando contenidos en Flash ya que ahora todo lo desarrollo en HTML 5, pero ahora sé que puedo publicar todos mis juegos de nuevo para que todo el mundo los juegue.

Esto la verdad me ha dejado muy contento y lo primero que subí para las primeras pruebas fue "Tiny Arcade"

At last after a while I could install a plug in on my server that let me run all my old Flash content, this plug in is called Ruffle and it is brilliant.

This doesn't mean I will continue making Flash content because now I'm developing using HTML 5, this just means I can start publishing my old games for everybody to play.

I am so happy and the first thing I uploaded for testing is my old favorite "Tiny Arcade"

Ahora que estoy haciendo juegos en HTML5 decidí probar hacer lo que estaba haciendo para TINY ARCADE, pero renovado, así que tomé el último juego que no terminé en FLASH para hacerlo de nuevo.

El resultado es genial ya que no sólo lo hice muy rápido, además tiene más detalle. El archivo tiene menos de la mitad del peso (bytes) del juego original.

Now that I'm creating HTML5 games I decided to try the things I was making for TINY ARCADE, but renovated, so I took the last non finished game in FLASH to make it again.

The result is just awesome not only because I worked quick, also I could add more detail. The file is less than half of the size (bytes) of the original.

Nuevo juego que hice tributo al famoso juego de Activision. Ya lo tenía en planes pero debía pensar como resolver mucho de las matemáticas, además de que el juego original usaba la palanca, después de un tiempo la solución de todo el juego me vino caminando y pude crear el juego en 2 días.

New game that I made as a tribute to the original Activision game. I had this game in mind but I had to solve all the mathematics, besides that the original game uses the stick, after a while the solution came to me while I was walking and I could make the game in just 2 days.

He estado creando juegos para la pantalla principal del Centro Cultural Digital de la ciudad de México, que tiene una resolución de 960 x 144 pixeles. Ellos lanzaron un JAM abierto a todo el público. Se tuvieron que adaptar los juegos a los controles disponibles en el lugar.

I've been working on games for the screen in the Centro Cultural Digital in Mexico city, it has a resolution of 960 x 144 pixels. They launched a game JAM open to everybody. we had to adapt the games to inputs available on the place.

Quería descansar de los juegos y rescate algo que hacía cuando trabajaba en el negocio multimedia, para algunos sitios hice "Webenirs" (souvenir virtuales), eran pequeñas aplicaciones gratis para los clientes que visitaban o realizaban cierta acciones dentro de los sitios, algunos eran en línea y otros eran descargables. Aplicaciones como calculadoras con la marca, la bola 8, dados virtuales, mascotas virtuales y mas. Eran geniales y no mucha competencia los conocía, así que era un gran mercado para mi en ese entonces.

Ahora quiero regresarlos a la vida para mi proyecto, en este caso haciendo una sección para juguetes y aplicaciones, el primero son los dados virtuales.

I wanted to rest a little bit of the games and I rescued something I used to make when I worked for multimedia business, for some sites I made some "Webeniers" (virtual souvenirs), this little free apps for clients if they visit or perform some actions on the site, some worked online and some other were for download. Apps like branded calculators, 8 balls, virtual dices, virtual pets and more. They were great and no much site were using them, so the market was great for me at that time.

Now I want to bring them back for my project, in this case making a section for those toys and apps. The first one is the Virtual dice.

Nuevo juego para #c1ic !!! todos mis juegos eran pequeños, pero me di cuenta de que estaba llamando una URL por cada juego, así que decidí hacerlos mas grandes para que el jugador se moviera mas libremente, en este caso hice un juego de conducción donde hay que atropellar a todos los zombis antes de que salgan de la pantalla, usa un solo botón para controlar los giros.

Después de mucho tiempo y recuperarme de perder mi computadora... estoy por fin de regreso.

Estoy trabajando en las nuevas características del arcade y los nuevos juegos a pesar de que tengo 17 en desarrollo, pero eso es lo que me mantiene motivado. Una de esas nuevas características es la habilidad de ganar monedas con cada vez que se juega, en el futuro cercano podrás apostar esas monedas en una pequeña máquina traga monedas.

Por ahora acabo de modificar la entrada del arcade y organicé los juegos por categorías para poder agregar todos los nuevos juegos.

After a long time and recover from loosing my computer... I'm finally back.

I'm working in the new features in the arcade and the new games although I have more than 17 in progress, but that keep me motivated. Some of the features is the ability to gain coins for every game you play, in the near future you will be able to gamble those coins in a little slot machine.

By now I make a new entrance to the arcade and organized the games in categories to keep adding new games in the listings.

Estaba tratando de calcular las vueltas en el aire para un juego de motos y otro de patineta en el medio tubo, y la mejor forma de hacerlo fue programar un pequeño juego de saltos en cama elástica, el resultado es genial y se quedó como uno más de los juegos de la lista.

La mecánica es simple, se presiona el botón para girar en el aire y hay que caer con los pies tanto para ganar puntos como para ganar altura, aterrizajes perfectos dan mucho mas puntos.

I was trying to calculate the number of loops in the air for a motocross game and a skate board in a half pipe, and the best way to achieve that was to make a little game in a trampoline, the result was great and the game was added to the list of games in the list.

The mechanic is simple, press the button to rotate in the air and land with the feet to make points and gain heigh, perfect landings give more points.

Esta semana la he dedicado para hacer actualizaciones de la consola y la parte de arcade.

Ahora la consola desde la entrada es mas clara en información.

Algunos de los ejemplos en el arcade son:

- Algunos de los juegos ahora tienen mas gráficas y tienen mas reto.
- Baseball ahora se llama HITBALL y tiene diferentes tipos de bolas.
- Hadoken ahora tiene mas esferas al mismo tiempo.
- Rumping ahora se llama RUNPING ya que la antigua palabra en inglés llevaba connotaciones sexuales y tiene diferentes tipos de obstáculos.
- Rescopter ahora tiene mas personas para rescatar.
- En general todos los juegos podrán salvar localmente el mejor score.

This week I've been working in the upgrades of the console and the arcade section.

Now the console is more clear about information.

Some of the examples on the arcade are:

- Some games in the arcade sections have more graphics and are more challenging.
- Baseball now is HITBALL and have more kinds of balls.
- Hadoken now have more spheres at the same time.
- Rumping now is RUNPING because the old world make sexual references in the english argot, and now the game gave more types of obstacles.
- Rescopter now have more people to save.
- In general all games will save best score locally.

La gente me ha estado preguntando por juego multi jugador (incluido mi hijo), así que comencé a hacer 4 nuevos juegos (1 a 4 jugadores) y organizar todas las carpetas de los juegos en los que estoy trabajando, acabo de darme cuenta que estoy trabajando en mas de 21 juegos al mismo tiempo para "Tiny arcade", ES UNA LOCURA!!!

Trabajando solo en mis ratos libres, pero sigo avanzando.
